Artist Spotlight- Tactical

Tactical also known as Ossan Mckenzie grew up in Stony Hill, St. Andrew, Jamaica. The twenty year old has been doing music from the age of thirteen and his favorite music genres are Dancehall and Hip Hop. When I asked him how he got into doing the music he replied with, I was born to do music, I am music. I use to dee jay Bounty Killer songs at school. Then I realized that I can write my own songs so I put pen to paper and that is where I emerge into doing music.

He expressed to me how he is inspired by Sizzla and Bounty because there music is positive and they help the youths. He has performed on West Kingston Jamboree 2008 as well as performing on the live show of this years Magnum king and queen competition.

Tacticals debut single A My Time Now is due to be released by Push A Yute Music November 2011. The young artist explained, Writing the single was a natural feeling because it speaks about my journey, and meeting Push A Yute to launch a career which is why I say give thanks to my elder Vivian!.

Lets not forget the lyricist is also a part of Top Gunners(Tactical, Disgustin and Neutron) a group also signed to Push A Yute, who are currently working on their forthcoming mixtape. Plus look out for Top Gunners and Nefatari(International Female Artist) Love Triangle due to be released soon.

With everything Tactical is working on expect to be hearing about him everywhere because this performer is not going to enter industry quietly
